
Afua Nyanin, MD, FACOG is a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist with over 15 years of clinical experience in women’s health. She currently practices at Beebe Women’s Health in Delaware and has previously served communities in Maryland and West Virginia. Dr. Nyanin is a graduate of Stanford University and earned her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
She is deeply committed to leadership, education, and service. Dr. Nyanin serves as OB-GYN Department Lead for the Family Medicine Residency and Medical Student Education Lead at Beebe Hospital. She has held numerous leadership roles within the Ghana Physicians and Surgeons Foundation of North America, including President, and has extensive experience in community outreach, global health, and mentorship.
Her professional interests include reproductive justice, infertility, adolescent and sexual health, global health equity, and holistic approaches to care. Dr. Nyanin brings to the board of La Constance Foundation a strong commitment to service, strategic leadership, and advancing health and opportunity for underserved communities.
